was listening to the muttons yesterday as usual. so yes, they were talking about their new CD. and justin said that he had poked around to see which competitors they would have. and he mentioned LINKIN PARK. hope all of you know that they're gonna release A Thousand Suns in September. (you better know. yesterday's inception was awesome.
loved it.
i think the top would keep on spinning...
anyway, was doing english story. chose the red house of pasir ris
think it's not to bad. especially cause there was lots of singlish in the first story.
here it is:
The Red House of Pasir Ris is a house found in Pasir Ris, near Downtown East. According to police reports, there was a murder case involving a husband and a wife that happened before in the house. The wife was brutally killed by her husband and her spirit has not been resting since. According to some people, the owner of the house is C.K. Tang.
The Red House has two Chinese lions outside guarding it. There are rumors saying that after midnight, the stone lions will turn their heads and stare at you when you pass by. Behind the house, there is a big old tree. It is said that it is where the spirit takes shelter. There is a rocking chair in the house. Some people say it is found outside of the Red House. Others say it is in the living room. Some people have never even seen the chair before.
About nine years ago, a group of friends decided to go red house and explore during the night. When they reached the gates, the “lions” were looking at them. They climbed in and the two boys climbed in first. They were told not to step on the lions as there would be a curse put on them. However, they could either step on the lions or climb the gate. The third person, Mary, stepped onto the lion on the right to get in. She felt the lion moved a bit and dislocated her ankle. They saw a window in the house and peeped in. There was rocking chair was rocking all by itself. The cold wind was blowing. As they were going out they saw a fine lady touching her hair. As she turned around, she disappeared. Suddenly, there was a “paper car” dashing towards Mary, as if taking her life. Luckily, her friends pulled her away, but she fell down and hurt the same leg with the dislocated ankle. The group quickly made their way out.
There is another story about the Red House. Two friends,Vernon and Stephen decided to go to the red house to explore. They jumped up to the lion stepped on its head and climb over the front gate. They sneaked in successfully and were inside the red house, checking every corner.
Vernon panicked when he heard a car dashing to the red house from a distance. But his guilt consciousness just didn’t allow him to step on the lion. A minute later, he was caught by the police but Stephen managed to escape. I got interrogated by the police, jotted down his IC number and was warned for trespassing into a private property. Luckily they let him go without any charges.
But a month later, a horrible accident happened to Stephen. A lamp post suddenly fell down and hit his head. He was hospitalized, and died at approximately the same time that he stepped on the lion’s head.
This is the third and final story.
It was a hot and humid night and five friends went to the red house. Before they reached there, they were sweating but once they reached there, it was cold as if there was an air conditioner installed there. At the gate, two of them decided not to go in as they were scared. The moment the other three of them went in, they saw a black shadow behind flying across. They quickly got out.
Once they were out, the other two friends that waiting outside said that they tried call the three of them but there was no answer. They checked their hand phones but they did not receive any calls and there were no missed call listed in their hand phones. They were scared and immediately left. The moment they wanted to leave, they saw a lady in white with long hair was hanging up on the tree.
