if you wanna listen to some thing but dont want anyone else hearing, you need earplugs/headphones/whatever.
but that way, people know that you're listening to something.

just now, when we were walking back to the house, the car alarm was ringing and we heard this guy shouting:"EH! SHUT UP!"
either that was the owner shouting at the car,
or was this random person shouting at the owner
or some random person shouting at the car,
or someone who was not shouting at the car/owner but someone else.
but seriously - how is shouting at a car gonna help keep it quiet?
